Absolutely! Our FotoTrip is designed for all levels of photographers. Our professional photography Instructor will guide you through all the shooting with the best composition and camera settings.

Photography Techniques You Will Learn

Various shooting techniques of Landscape Photography, giving more variations to your works.
How to correctly use photography filtesr to greatly enhance your photos without the need of post-editing.
Practical composition and framing techniques.
Photography techniques of sunrise, sunset and night scene.
Photography techniques of star, milky way, star trails.
How to fill the light for foreground in night scene.
Practical knowledge of various effects by using difference lens.
How to enhance the colors by using appropriate filters.
Advanced usage of tripod and shutter release cable with timer.

Hong Kong-USA return air ticket fee is approximately HK$6,500 with tax (Additional fee is not included). Final cost will be informed during enrollment.

Notes For Enrollment

Non-refundable deposit of $1,000 will be collected within 3 days of enrollment to confirm your placement.
The group will need at least 10 participants. If the requirement is not met this trip will be cancelled and all deposits will be refunded in the original payment method.
Balance is required to be settled within 45 days of departure.
We have no obligation to inform you about any changes on this page.
In case of failure to pair a room with another participant of the same gender, the participant will need to pay Single Room Supplement.
No changes can be made after the formal air ticket is issued.

Itinerary

Day 1

Los Angeles、Griffith Observatory

Meet up at Los Angeles airport (LAX). Then go to Griffith Observatory for beautiful sunset, magic hour and night scene.

Day 2

Grand Canyon National Park

This day we will go to Grand Canyon National Park with star and milky-way shooting at night.

Red Feather Lodge or similar
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 3

Continue to explore Grand Canyon National Park

Explore and take photos on Grand Canyon South Rim. Shoot creative images of Grand Canyon at sunrise and sunset. If weather is suitable, we will go to shoot startrails with Grand Canyon as the foreground.

Day 4

Desert View Watch Tower, Horseshoe Bend

After taking photos at Desert View Watch Tower in the morning, we will arrive Page where impressive sunset photos will be taken in Horseshoe Bend. Rest well at night and prepare for more shooting next day.

Day 5

"Magical" Antelope Canyon

We will join Canyon-X Photography Tour which is absoultely not a normal antelope tour! Students can enjoy shooting in the antelope canyon with tripod and very few people around. If we have time, we will visit the amazing Glen Canyon Dam as well.

Day 6

Las Vegas

All of us can relax and enjoy in the Las Vegas! Besides sight-seeing along the Strip, you can also try your luck in various casino or have a fruitful buffet dinner.

Day 7

Death Valley

After relaxing in Las Vegas, it is time for more creative shooting! Our group will go through Death Valley National Park and take photos on the famous landscape and also Zabriskie Point. We will have a buffet lunch in the park.

Yosemite View Lodge or similar
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 8

Yosemite National Park

We will explore and shoot at Yosemite National Park all day. Our photography instructor will guide you through all the shootings at sunrise, sunset and magic hours. We will also take star and milky way photos at night! Famous spots sunch as Tunnel View, El Capitan, Falf Dome, Sentinel Rock ,Glacier Point and so on will all be visited.

Day 9

Yosemite National Park, San Francisco

If there is enough time, we will visit some of the great points in Yosemite before heading to take photos on the Golden Bridge at San Francisco with sunset or magic hour.

Day 10

San Francisco

In the morning we will go to Battery Spencer for photo shooting. Then we will visit Pier 39 before heading to Twin Peak for car trails photos (if time allowed).

Overseas participants will go to airport at night. Local USA participants can arrange accomodations by themselves if needed.

Day 11

Going back to Los Angeles

USA local participants can arrange transportation by themselves or go back to Los Angeles with instructors with the same vehicle.
